Josée Bisaillon was born in 1982 in St-Hyacinthe, Canada. Little girl, she loved to draw cats
and houses. She also cut out everything made of paper she could find around her.
After studies in computer graphics, she obtained a bachelor’s dregree in graphic design in 2005. This is where she fell in love with illustration.
Josée won many awards such as Applied Arts, LUX, American Illustration and Society of Illustrator. She was also shortlisted for the Governor General’s Literary Awards in 2008 and 2010.
Josée lives in a nice little house in the suburbs of Montreal with her husband and their three charming children. She still loves drawing cats and cutting out everything made of paper she can find.
Josée Bisaillon est née en 1982 à St-Hyacinthe, au Québec. Petite, elle adore dessiner des chats et des maisons. Elle découpe aussi tout ce qui lui tombe sous la main (en autant que ce soit en papier, bien évidemment).
Après des études collégiales en graphisme, elle poursuit ses études à l’Université du Québec à Montréal en design graphique. C’est là qu’elle est tombée en amour avec l’illustration.
Josée a remporté plusieurs prix dont les Applied Arts, LUX, American Illustration et Society Of Illustrator (NY) en plus d’être finaliste aux Prix Littéraires du Gouverneur Général en 2008 et 2010.
Josée vit dans une petite maison en banlieue de Montréal avec son conjoint et leur 3 adorables enfants. Elle aime toujours dessiner des chats et des maisons, et découpe toujours tout ce qui lui tombe sous la main.
